WM Route Auditor in Seattle, Washington

FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE!

I. Job Summary

Analyzes transportation routes, methods, and procedures to develop and utilize the most economically advantageous and efficient means of transportation.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Follows WM drivers on existing routes to determine effectiveness of route sequencing and ensure proper driver procedure.

While on route, identifies service increase opportunities.

Shares ideas to increase route productivity while keeping service quality consistently high.

Maintains time and production records.

Effectively interacts and works with operations manager to ensure the most efficient, cost-effective operation of the fleet.

Complies and ensures adherence to WM’s Mission to Zero standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.

Attends and contributes to periodic driver/safety meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among all employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiency.

Updates and submits required reports in a timely manner.

III. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

Education and Experience

Education: Associate's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree required and; High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 2 years of relevant work experience required.

Experience: No prior work experience required (in addition to education requirement).

IV. Work Environment

Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.

The salary range for this position is $75 - $82k annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.

Employees will also receive discretionary time off, up to 80 hours of paid sick time per year and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additionally, the Company has a leave pay policy that provides for up to 4 weeks of paid leave in a rolling 12-month period for qualifying leaves.
