Role Overview:
We’re on the hunt for an inspiring Area Safety Director to spearhead our Safety initiatives across the Upper Midwest. You’ll lead a dedicated team of 8 safety specialists, shaping and executing our safety strategies in harmony with our overarching goals. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and align safety strategies.
Manage the Drive Cam System, including analysis, reporting, and coaching.
Lead our Serious Injury and Fatality Prevention efforts to eliminate high-risk tasks.
Enhance safety communication and oversee incident management processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations (DOT, OSHA, etc.).
Direct our Hazardous Energy Control and PPE Management Programs.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead our Safety Recognition Program.
Prioritize employee health and champion personal development within the safety realm.
Who You Are:
You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with over 10 years in Safety or Operations Management, including 3+ years leading teams.
A strategic thinker with a knack for translating priorities into action.
A collaborative influencer ready to drive change and elevate safety standards.
Well-versed in safety regulations with stellar communication skills.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist, or similar credentials preferred.
